We maintain the connectors to processors, store the transaction data, generate alerts, and provide you with flexible CRM tools for you to manage the workflow, research transactions, and provide visibility to fraud-related information across functions.
With POS Portal’s Risk Management system, you define the business rules that generate risk alerts and manage the risk analyst workflow in P2. Risk alert queues and time-based triggers help you manage the daily workflow and ensure alerts aren’t missed and escalations occur when needed.
We manage and host the daily transaction data evaluated by the risk engine. That means we maintain the connections with the processors for daily files, keep compliant with PCI requirements, and provide the redundancy infrastructure needed to host authorization, capture, and settlement data. Risk AlertsRisk alerts are generated daily against authorization and capture data. You can manage risk parameters differently across your portfolio. You can configure risk alerts thresholds and parameters at multiple levels, including portfolio, agent, SIC code, zip code, and the individual merchant level. There are both transaction-based alerts and batch level alerts. |

Risk Analyst WorkflowRisk analysts work a daily queue of risk alerts. The queue can be sorted in multiple ways, such as deposit amount, merchant category, or based on a customized scoring system. All the important merchant information is right at an analysts finger tips. Analysts drive the risk alert workflow with predefined dropdown lists that record activity and move the alert into subsequent stages. Time-based triggers help managers manage the queue to ensure timely actions and responses. Clear escalation paths make sure that nothing sits idle. Email templates ensure consistent messaging to merchants and other third parties. |

Transaction ResearchRisk analysts can research transaction data directly from the alert or the merchant location record in P2. Analysts can search for specific transactions that triggered the alert or define broader search parameters if needed. Authorization, capture, and settlement data is received from the processor, tokenized, and then stored in our PCI compliant Transaction Data Warehouse. |

Merchant LocationsEach merchant profile includes summary data that helps the risk analyst make quick decisions, such as average deposits for the past 90-days. But this is just a starting point; you can configure additional fields on the merchant profile to fit your business model. Past alerts are visible from the merchant profile so risk analysts and other functional groups, such as customer service, can see a merchant’s risk history. |
